The aim of this workshop is to get you used to making loops with the wire to attach to the ear hooks, once you have this mastered there will be no stopping you, you should leave this workshop with the confidence to make beaded earrings without any further instruction.
You will also leave this workshop with two pairs of earrings which you will have made during the two hours.
You will have a large selection of beads to choose from, so you can make your earrings to compliment your wardrobe!
Below are some examples of the earrings you will be making as your first pair - this is to introduce the idea of making earrings on a head pin and making a loop to attach to your chosen ear fitting.
The following is an example of the second pair of earrings.
This is designed specifically to give you plenty of experience in making neat loops with the wire, again there is a large selection of coloured beads for you to make your choice from.
Knitted Bracelet Making
Providing you can knit, you will be able to cope with this workshop.
You will be provided with wire and beads, you will need to bring your own knitting needles.
At the end of the session, you should have completed your bracelet, and have the confidence to experiment with needles and wire to create your own knitted jewellery
The aim of this workshop is to show how to thread beads, attach clasps and make loops on wire. There will be a large selection of beads again to make this style of bracelet. You will leave with a completed bracelet within the 2 hours and you should leave with the confidence to make other items of threaded jewellery in your own time.
Floating Necklace Making
The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to crimping beads into position on tigertail wire, and if you haven't attended the bracelet making workshop you will also learn how to attach clasps. At the end of the two hour session you will have completed your three stranded necklace using beads of your choice.
This bracelet is made by sewing thread through beads to create a tiny flower pattern, the flower itself will look different depending on the size and shape of beads you choose!
This bracelet can be made in a one and a half hour - two hour workshop.
Below are examples of the type of bracelet you will end up with.
If you are interested in attending any of these workshops, there is a list of future workshops on the left hand side of this page.
If the one you are interested in isn't listed please contact me and I will hopefully be able to arrange one for you.
