Mother of pearl and glass bead necklace
A simple choker style necklace for this weeks Wedding Wednesday - I made this today using round Mother-of-pearl beads and tiny glass pearl and gold coloured beads - this would be perfect for a bride but would look equally stunning worn with an evening dress.

Tuesday - Blues day
The time has come for me to concentrate on my sales events running up to Christmas so today I unpacked all my stock to re-evaluate it - and although I have been steadily making jewellery every week I seem to be lacking in certain colours and designs, mainly because I have also been stocking up Gallery at 12 every month. Today the lack of blue jewellery shouted out at me so I spent the rest of the morning, making more -
This won't be enough to fill the gap totally - but it is a start

Black and white glass bead bracelet
Whenever I see black and white outfits and jewellery I think of the Ascot scene in 'My Fair Lady' so I have named this bracelet 'Eliza'
I made this bracelet earlier today, using black and white glass beads, due to the design of this bracelet it has turned out to be quite a long length, 9 inches, and so it wouldn't be suitable for a tiny, delicate wrist, although as the bracelet is made on two strands it does provide the option of attaching the clasp into the first loop of beads, so it can sit tighter than designed to if needed.

'Magog' - An Oak leaf necklace
This week I have been working on this statement necklace design, based on oak leaves, which is now complete. I have named her Magog after a fabulous old, I believe around 2000 years old, oak near Glastonbury - when I saw her about 20 years ago she was still just clinging onto life unlike her partner, Gog, which has now sadly died - just think what has passed in her lifetime - amazing!!!!
I used copper wire to make my oak leafs, freehand shaping so, as in nature, no two are identical, I then added finer copper wire threaded with Swarovski crystals and glass beads to each leaf by weaving and wrapping into a random pattern, then I linked each set of leaves together with a glass bead on copper wire and added a hand formed clasp again using copper wire.

I spent five hours today working on a statement necklace which I will share on here later this week, two thirds of the way through I decided to take a break from it and make something striking but much simpler than the necklace - so I chose to make these earrings
I used a black plate feature bead, round hematite beads, glass spacer beads and tiny round black glass beads they are hanging from black plate ear hooks

Dichroic glass necklace, bracelet and earring set
Today's 'Monday Makes' is this blue glass jewellery set comprising of a necklace with matching bracelet and earrings- each of these dark blue beads has flashes of turquoise and lime dichroic glass which helps to create a very striking set of jewellery. The beads have been threaded on nylon coated wire and crimped into position using silver plate crimps, to make both the necklace and the bracelet and both have been finished off with a silver plate clasp, I have also added tiny glass beads to highlight the colours in the beads. The earrings are hanging from a pair of silver plate ear hooks but as with all of my hanging earrings these can be changed to sterling silver if preferred!
