Co-ordinated accessories

One of the great things about asking me to make your wedding jewellery is that I can make totally original jewellery and accessories to match, such as this Swarovski Crystal tiara made with a selection of blue and clear crystals

and this matching wand suitable for a bridesmaid or even as a substitute for a brides bouquet

Let your imagination run wild and let me know what you would really like to have for your wedding!

Freshwater Pearls and crystals

Back to old favourites again.
It's approaching that time of year again when I need to add to my collection of jewellery to take out to the summer fairs. First one being next weekend at Norbury Junction.
So for starters here are three of my new freshwater pearl and crystal necklaces.

All of course come with matching earrings!
These have been made with the intention of taking to Norbury next weekend but if you have see one you would like and can't get along to Norbury, please contact me and we can sort something out!

What kind of jewellery can you make with a wire coiler?

Well all I can say is that I am still experimenting, but it would appear that there are many possibilities!
On Tuesday while working in Gallery at 12 in Eccleshall, I played around with silver plate wire and turquoise seed beads to make coiled beaded beads, which I have used to make these two totally different necklaces.

This necklace is 40 inches long, it has 7 coiled beads included in the design, I have threaded more of the turquoise seed beads and a patterned clear glass bead in between each coiled bead.

These are double coiled beads, that is the wire has been coiled and then the coil has been coiled again!

Below is my second design, the coiled bead is much larger but again is double coiled. This necklace is
16 inches long

Both necklaces have been finished off with sterling silver clasps

Silk Flowers - For those who prefer to have flowers in their hair!

Following on from the tiara theme of the last post, today I would like to share with you a couple of examples of my silk flower tiara's.

I have a small selection of flowers waiting to be attached to tiara bands along with a handful of crystals if wanted, so if you would prefer a floral tiara please let me know!

Looking for a tiara that is slightly different?

Think of tiara's and you would normally picture lots of pearls and crystals. As you know, if you follow this blog, I do make my fair share of those, but you will also know that I enjoy making totally unique items even more!
So here is a wire knitted tiara with hundreds of small glass beads, and one solitary, token Swarovski crystal!

Can't get black flowers for your bouquet?

Question - What do you do if you want black flowers in your bouquet?
Answer - Ask me to make you some!

I apologise for these photos, the sun wouldn't shine and it was windy so the flowers wouldn't stay still- not a problem for the bouquet because the movement in the bouquet causes the crystals to sparkle even more, just not great for photographing detail.
Any way, I hope you get the general idea:

Blowing around in the wind

close up of the handle -

I have knitted each flower with black coloured wire and glass beads, the centre part I made by coiling silver plate wire with glass beads and attaching a Swarovski crystal. The silver plate wire then continues as each stem up to the handle.

I'd be really interested to find out what you think of this.
The flowers can, of course, be made in other colours and can also be made as matching corsages and / or included in matching jewellery or hair decorations.
